bath spa

We set out (at the ungodly hour of 8am) to catch a train to the posh British heritage city of Bath. A population of 80,000 with 5 expensive public (i.e. private) schools close by, the 18th C buildings and manicured gardens only added to the vintage gentility of the place. The weather was blissful. Yay!

We started our tour at Royal Crescent - the best address in Bath as far as I'm concerned. Gorgeous views, and celebrity residents (John Cleese lives here!) coupled with heritage architecture? Life would be really good if I could afford to live in a place like this!

Then a little bit more meandering....

And a little trip to the Jane Austen Centre....

And naturally a trip to the Pump Rooms and Roman Baths....cos we are in Bath....

You can still actually "take the waters". It smells like rotten eggs, and I refuse to drink it....

Funky Zebra cardigan - from equally Funky boutique!
